Meet the Staff

Dennis Jagla is the Nunda Township Assessor. Dennis Jagla has served as the Nunda Township Assessor since 1998 and has served as a township assessor since 1994.

“My mission as Nunda Township assessor is to keep current with changing assessment theory and technology and to provide the property owners of Nunda Township with the highest level of assessment accuracy and uniformity possible."

Since 1998 the Nunda Township Assessors Office has been the recipient of numerous awards for meeting and or exceeding standards set by the State of Illinois for providing Nunda Township Property owners with accurate, fair and uniform assessments.

The Nunda Township Assessors Office is open daily from 7am to 3:30pm. Additional appointment times can be arranged for people with special needs, just call. Arrangements can also be made for special home visits for anyone who cannot come to our office to complete various types of assessment paperwork including exemption paperwork for Senior Citizens. Our dedicated and experienced staff is always ready to serve all your assessment needs.

Mark: Mark is the Chief Deputy Assessor and has been with the Nunda Township Assessors Office since 1988. Mark has an advanced Assessment Designation with the Illinois Property Assessment Institute and is extremely knowledgeable in assessment valuation and administration. Mark is in charge of all industrial and commercial assessments and oversees all appraisal and field personnel.

Victor and Karen: Our Appraisal Team. Both Victor and Karen are responsible for residential data entry and valuations. Other responsibilities include collecting up-to-date market sales information, computer drawing of new properties, helping property owners with questions about their assessments and preparing data for presentation at County Board of Review hearings.

Dayle and Judy: Our Clerical Staff. Dayle and Judy are responsible for keeping the mountains of paper work flowing through the office. Some of their duties include answering the phone, filing, data entry, payroll duties, mail distribution, keeping track of budget and expense items and helping the general public with assessment questions.

Kelli, Mary and Ron: Our Field Team. The majority of their time is spent outside the office gathering data on all new residential construction, inspecting all new building permits and doing annual neighborhood inspections.
